Wellness & Empowerment of Children

Creating an Ecosystem of Leaders Guiding Students Toward a Substance Free Life

What is AYUDH

AYUDH is the international youth movement guided by Satguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) to channelize the powerful force of youth to imbibe nationalistic pride and integrate universal values into their daily lives.
Founded in 1985, AYUDH has been active in over 40 countries across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, Africa, and India.

What is AYUDH WEMoch

AYUDH WEmoch is a project of AYUDH Chennai that aims to create an ecosystem of leaders, mentors, educators, parents, and youth to enlighten, educate, and empower children, adolescents, and youth toward emotional wellbeing, resilience, and a life devoid of substance use.
It was inaugurated by Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) on 30 January 2020 at the Math, Virugambakkam, Chennai.

Why This Matters

Children today face academic stress, emotional pressure, peer influence, and early exposure to substance use. Prevention efforts often begin too late.
Formed under the auspices of our beloved Amma, this project addresses the gap through early intervention.
According to UNFPA projections, India is experiencing a “youth bulge” and will continue to have one of the youngest populations in the world till 2030.
It is imperative to invest in empowering youth to grow into healthy, responsible citizens and guide them toward transforming Bharat into a developed nation by 2047, as envisioned by the Government of India
